Top Game For Kid Editorial Team

The Top Game For Kid editorial team works to the process set out in our editorial policy. The team chooses the topics the site covers.

What we cover

• Age labels, and the limits of those labels, when choosing a game for a child.
• Advertising and in-app purchases inside games aimed at children.
• Children’s data privacy and the rules that govern it.
• How a parent can assess a game before letting a child play it.

How we check content

Articles are drafted with generative AI. Before an article is scheduled, the site owner reads it and approves its scope and the sources it lists; articles are not edited line by line. Each article shows the label “AI draft, not edited” and lists its sources at the end. A separate review compares articles with their sources, and an article in which that review finds an error is taken off the site until it is corrected. The full rules are in the editorial policy.

What this team does not do

The team does not evaluate games by having a child play them, does not collect data from children, and does not accept payment from game publishers to write about them.
